RUN WITH US
The Dordogne region, with its beautiful countryside, chateaux and quaint villages is a running paradise. The trails vary from flat to hilly, hence they are suitable for all levels of runners. The majority of trails are off road country paths, that run through woodlands, along rivers and across fields. We also run through some pretty countryside villages, where you can find characteristic architecture and famous Perigordine produce.
We offer you guided running trips from 5 to 20km, with warm up before and stretching session after the run.
LONG DISTANCE DISCOVERY RUN
Depending on your experience and abilities, this can be anything between 8 and 25km. Its not about speed, just the distance. We start the run at 8 am to allow enough time before the mercury rises, for you to be back relaxing by the swimming pool for a well earned rest.
HILL WORK ENDURANCE BUILDING RUN
We will start with a warm up and a short distance run, that will take us to a spot where we can have a hill workout. This will help you build stamina and endurance, which are the keys to success when long distance running. The total run will be around 6-8 km and can be either in the morning or evening, depending on your preferences.
INTERVAL RUN WITH SPEED WORK
This is a medium distance run, consisting of short warm up, followed by intervals with sprint and jogging (200m fast, 400m slow), finishing with a cool down. This is designed to help you increase your pace long term.
